To an automaker, the one issue that they all hope to experience is an overwhelming demand to the point where their production plant can’t keep up with the demand. Honda is currently experiencing it with their Honda CR-V so maybe they have a few tips to give Mazda.
Mazda is barely coping with the demand of their Mazda CX-5 right now and things will only go from bad to worst when Mazda finally offer their new Mazda CX-5 in Australia. According to the reports, Mazda is looking to open up an extra production plant so that they can cope with the demands.
The new plant will be the Hofu plant location in Yamaguchi prefecture. This should help Mazda keep up with all the demands globally. The Mazda CX-5 was very well received in Australia and all the new upgrade should help increase its sales in Australia this year.
The new plant will be working with the Hiroshima plant to make sure there is enough Mazda CX-5 to go around. The Hofu plant will also be producing the Mazda CX-3 as well.
The new Mazda CX-5 will be coming with a 2.0 liter four engine that will be mated to a six-speed manual and will be powered by a 155hp engine. There is also a 2.5-liter engine that will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission and will be offering about 184hp.
