The Mazda CX-9 can hold 7 people but now we hear that the carmaker is going to launch the 2018 Mazda CX-5 and that too will be able to carry seven.
The Mazda CX-5 with 7 seats is going to arrive in Japan first and it will then make its way to other countries. But what hasn’t been said is whether the carmaker is elongating the CX-5 or if they are going to squeeze some more children’s seats into the vehicle.
We are expecting to see the Mazda CX-5 with seven seats before 2018 and it is said to be coming with the same engine from the standard version. If so we expect to see the 2 litre SkyActiv-G, the 2.5 litre petrol and the SkyActiv-D 2.2 litre.
The Honda CR-V was said to be going to be a seven seated vehicle when it arrived for this year but it never came about. Let’s hope that this time around the 2018 Mazda CX-5 is going to be the real deal.
