Honda might have got the Civic design right this time but there is more to a great car than the perfect design and Mazda is showing Honda how to make a great car with the Mazda 3.
While the Mazda 3 does not look bad at all, it is what is underneath that design that has impressed many. Mazda reveals that the 2018 Mazda 3 will be coming in with the new Skyactive-G engine that will not only help improve the performance of the vehicle but it will also help reduce the fuel consumption rate of the vehicle as well.
This is because the engine now uses pressure to ignite the fuel instead of the spark plugs. According to Mazda, the new method would improve the fuel efficiency rate of the vehicle by 30% which means the Mazda 3 could be offering ab out 43mpg when it arrives.
While fuel saving is not really the biggest concern right now thanks to the low fuel prices, it is still an important factor that the consumers will consider when they look for a new car.
