The debut date for the 2018 Jeep Wrangler is up in the air at the moment as Fiat Chrysler haven’t yet decided on a debut date for the upcoming next gen vehicle, according to Mike Manley.
It was originally thought that the 2018 Jeep Wrangler would arrive during the first half of 2017, however now it has been said that it perhaps won’t arrive until the end of the year. It was said that the indecisiveness about the launch date wasn’t in any way related to the development of the vehicle being delayed.
When it does arrive the 2018 Jeep Wrangler is going to offer up styling that is said to be revolutionary. However, it will come in a choice of three engines and these include the 2 litre turbocharged four-cylinder, the 3.6 litre Pentastar V6 and the 3 litre V6 EcoDiesel. The six speed manual and the eight speed automatic transmission are going to be on offer.
The pickup truck version of the Jeep Wrangler is going to be produced along with the brand new SUV over at the Jeep Toledo Assembly plant and it will come later than the SUV, possibly around the middle of 2018.
