2018 Jeep Wrangler Success May Be Cut Short By High Price Tag

By  |

While there hasn’t been any confirmation at the moment it has been suggested that the 2018 Jeep Wrangler will come with a price tag that is higher than the 2017 version. This isn’t just going to be a small boost in price, it is thought that it may be a big hike.

The 2018 Jeep Wrangler will of course come with a higher price tag due to the fact that it is made from aluminium. The price will rise even though the company should benefit as they are increasing the production.

The Jeep Wrangler production is going to be more delicate as it is going to be made from aluminium instead of steel. We are expecting the price tag to rise by around $1,000 to $3,000. This may sting in the US but overseas it could be a totally different thing.

People in the US could find it a slap, but overseas it might feel more like a huge punch. This is down to the fact that in regions such as India and China the Jeep Wrangler costs around four times more. This is a real shame as these regions are perfect regions for the Wrangler.

Jeep could perhaps take on some of the costs due to them using aluminium, however if they don’t they risk losing some consumers abroad, who might move to the Jeep Renegade which comes with a price tag that is lower.
