2018 Jeep Wrangler Should Watch Its Back For The RAM 1500
Things are going very well for the FCA and this is partly due to the fact that the sales of the Jeep have been strong. The strong sales have also been making up for the poor commercial performance that Dodge, Chrysler and Fiat has seen.
They do have plans for investing about $1.05 billion and this is going to allow them to refurbish the Toledo plant. The next generation 2018 Jeep Wrangler is going to be produced there, while the Jeep Cherokee is going to be relocated to Belvidere.
There are some people who believe that perhaps the FCA is gambling far too much on the chance of gas prices remaining low. The Jeep Wrangler is going to offer improvements to the fuel economy, despite the fact that off the road vehicles are not particularly well-known for offering good fuel economy.
Even more disturbing news has come out as the FCA are putting $1.48 billion into making over their Sterling Heights factory to build the next generation of the RAM 1500, which is going to the body on frame away from the unibody.
The Chrysler 200 is going due to the retooling of the factory but its life span is coming to an end, the same as the Dodge Dart in Ilinois.
