2018 Jeep Wrangler Set To Lose Its Spotlight
During this year there has been a spotlight on the next generation Jeep Wrangler that is said to be coming out next year.
Abroad the Jeep Renegade has been one of the most exciting vehicles from the car maker; however in the US it has been the Jeep Wrangler that has been the most popular due to the fact that Americans like louder vehicles. The Wrangler thanks to its new engines and variants is louder for sure.
The compact 4×4 may not be about to lose the spotlight, for some time at least. All the attention is about to be put on a redesign of the vehicle and it is thought that it might have the name of the Jeep Compatriot.
This is a vehicle that is going to take over from the Jeep Patriot and the Jeep Compass. We have seen spy shots and they tell us that it may have the Compass name instead. The Jeep Compatriot is going to take on the small wide platform that is seen on the Jeep Renegade.
It is technically a compact vehicle that is going to sit between the Jeep Cherokee and the Jeep Renegade. This means that it will rival the Mazda CX-4 along with the Subaru Outback. It is also thought that the Compatriot is going to look about the same as the Jeep Grand Cherokee.
The FCA seems to want the Jeep Compatriot to offer up all the versatility of the Jeep Renegade, while charming the vibe of the Jeep flagship model. Due to this it does offer up an appeal internationally that beats the Wrangler and it could steal the spotlight of the latter in the months to come.
