2018 Jeep Wrangler: Its Price Tag May Destroy Its Success
While there hasn’t been confirmation we believe that the price tag of the Jeep Wrangler may be higher than that of the current model and it may be higher by some considerable margin.
Naturally the 2018 Jeep Wrangler will come with a hike up in price due to the fact that production costs are going to increase. You also have to take into account that aluminum isn’t cheap despite the fact that the vehicle should be able to benefit from having a huge increase in production.
Due to the Jeep Wrangler being built from aluminum the production of it is delicate and so we are expecting the price to rise by around $1,000 and $3,000. If the car maker wants the Wrangler to become popular overseas then this will be something entirely different.
Bear in mind that while the hike in price for the Jeep Wrangler may seem like a small pinch to those in the US, consumers abroad would feel it as a huge slap. The Wrangler already costs about four times more in India and China, which are of course countries that have perfect terrains as they are rugged.
Maybe Jeep would be able to cover some of the add-on costs with them using high grade aluminum. If they don’t do this they may find it difficult to find people who are willing to pay out for the Jeep Wrangler. This is due to the fact that Jeep Renegade isn’t made from aluminum and so the price tag is less.
