2018 Jeep Wrangler Is Going To Be Keeping Up
One thing that we know about the Jeep Wrangler is that there is more demand for the vehicle that what the company can supply and this means a long wait to get behind the wheel.
The FCA are hoping that the Jeep Wrangler is going to be able to keep up with those wanting one and to make sure of this they have plans to upgrade the plant where the vehicle is made.
Jeep did give us confirmation that the Jeep Wrangler is going to be made at the Toledo plant and the goal of the FCA is to increase the capacity to around 450,000 vehicles each year, instead of the 240,000 that is currently produced. Around 350,000 of these units are going to be the Wrangler and the remainder will be the new truck that is going to be based around the Wrangler.
The FCA has invested $700,000 million so that they can upgrade their plant and it is thought that the investment is also going to create around 700 new jobs.
