2018 Jeep Wrangler Is Going To Be Able To Keep Up
The Jeep Wrangler is a very popular vehicle and due to this people often have to wait before they can get behind the wheel of one as the supply cannot keep up to the demand.
The FCA however want to put an end to this with the 2018 Jeep Wrangler and they are making upgrades to the plant so that they can produce the aluminum version and send out more Jeep Wranglers each year. So it is looking as though it is going to be able to keep up.
Jeep announced that the production of the Jeep Wrangler is going to stay at the Toledo plant and they are hoping to boost capacity to 450,000 a year from the current 240,000 per year. The plant is going to be making around 350,000 Jeep Wranglers each year and the remainder is for the new truck that is said to be based around the Wrangler.
In total FCA are going to be handing over $700,000 million for upgrading the plant and it is thought that another 700 new jobs are going to be created.
