2018 Jeep Wrangler Can Keep Up
The Jeep Wrangler is a popular vehicle and due to the demand it means that people often have to wait to get their hands on the vehicle as the supply cannot meet the demand.
The FCA is going to change this as they don’t want people having to wait to get hold of the 2018 Jeep Wrangler. To make sure that there is enough supply they are upgrading the plant so that it can build the new aluminum Jeep Wrangler and send out more each year.
Jeep did say that the production of the Jeep Wrangler is going to remain at the Toledo plant and they want to boost the capacity of the vehicle from 240,000 each year to around 450,000. 350,000 of the units pushed out are going to be the Jeep Wrangler, while the remainder is thought to be the truck that is based on the Wrangler.
The FCA has spent more than $700,000 million to make the needed upgrades to the Toledo plant and at the same time they have created around 700 new jobs.
