2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk Hides Its 707 Horses Extremely Well
Fans of Jeep have been waiting for the arrival of the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk and following a lot of shots of the SUV Jeep has now finally unveiled the vehicle that comes with the Hellcat engine.
You might have thought that with such a powerful engine Jeep would have given it lots of aggressive styling, but this hasn’t been the case. Instead they went for a look that is more restrained for the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. However it is a bit more meaner looking that the premium SRT version that is has been based around.
It comes with a front air intake that is more substantial and this allows for the cooling of the 6.2 litre supercharged HEMI V8 engine. The Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk manages to hide the high output very well thanks to red brake calipers, which are set behind tires that are unique along with some badges bearing the Hellcat name.
Apart from this there is hardly anything about the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk that would suggest that this is a vehicle that could go from 0 to 60mph in under 3 seconds thanks to the 707 horses.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk isn’t going to be the flagship SUV when the turn of the decade comes around. The Jeep Grand Wagoneer is set to take over and tackle the premium SUV market. This means that the Cherokee would need to stand out with something different.
