We have been treated to a first look at the prototype 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, which is close to the production stage. While the vehicle looks very much along the same lines as the Grand Cherokee SRT, the spy photos revealed the vehicle with the front fascia covered and this is due to the fact that the vehicle uses bigger vents to help cool the Hellcat engine offering 707 horses.

The test version of the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk has Brembo brakes, which are taken from the Dodge Hellcat models and in the cabin is the roll cage, however we don’t expect to see this on the production version.

The spy photos showed us that the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is going to have suspension that has been upgraded and it offers up additional bracing. The flagship is going to have the V8 6.2 litre engine taken from the Hellcat and this offers up 707 horses along with 650 torque.

Jeep said that the top of the range Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is going to be available from July 2017, so we should expect to see a reveal in the months leading up to it. It is thought that the price tag will come in at around $80,000.
