We cannot wait for the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show as there is going to be plenty of showcases that should be interesting. One of them is going to be the blend between the Jeep Renegade and Cherokee that is going to replace the Jeep Compass along with the Patroit.
The exterior seems to suggest that it has been based around the Cherokee, but underneath there is the platform of the subcompact Renegade. It is going to fall in-between the Cherokee and Renegade.
Its credentials are going to ensure that the 4×4 is unique in the lineup of Jeep and with its debut planned for late November, people may forget all about the plans for the Jeep Wrangler along with the Renegade for the time being.
The compact vehicle is going to have the Jeep Compass name tag and not the Patriot one and this means that it will have more appeal internationally. At the moment the vehicle has been given the name of the Compatriot and we should get to see it before 2017, although it is going to arrive as a 2018 model.
