There was no indication that Jaguar was looking to give the XJ a successor but that is exactly what Jaguar is working on right now as they announce that the vehicle will be heading to the upcoming Goodwood Festival of Speed.
According to Jaguar, the new XJ will be a new derivative of the luxury sedan and that the vehicle will be officially unveiled later this summer. That is all we know about the vehicle right now and we will most likely have to wait until Goodwood to learn more.
Besides showing off the Jaguar XJ, Jaguar will also be showing us the Jaguar XF Sportbrake, I-Pace concept and well as the I-Type Formula E race car. Let’s not forget about the Jaguar XE SV Project 8 as well.
The vehicle will come powered by a 5.0-litre V8 engine that will be offering about 600PS. The engine will be mated to an eight-speed transmission and will only need 3.3 seconds to go from 0-60mph.
