People are waiting for the arrival of the Tesla Model Y but right now its direct rival, the 2018 Jaguar I-Pace has already arrived on the market.

It was thought that Tesla would be the only one for years to offer up a battery electric SUV. It was thought that Jaguar wouldn’t be able to offer the vehicle until 2020 but things changed and the Jaguar I-Pace has now been arrived as a fully-fledged crossover.

The Jaguar I-Pace offers up five seats and the vehicle takes on the looks, feel and it handles just as you would expect from a vehicle from Jaguar. It reaches 60mph from standstill in about four seconds and offers up 516 torque from the two electric motors. The two motors will offer a combined 400 horses.

The Jaguar I-Pace will have a range of 220 miles from the 90 kilowatt-hour battery and it will take just two hours to charge when using a fast charging DC station and reach 80% in only 90 minutes. Jaguar revealed that people who use the vehicle to drive 30 miles a day will need to charge the vehicle only once a week.

The Jaguar I-Pace is always connected to the internet and it offers up a cabin with a 12 inch virtual cockpit display, head up color display, 12 inch touchscreen multimedia display and 5.5 inch display for climate and multimedia setting changes.
