2018 Jaguar F-Pace SVR Kills Off Porsche Macan 440 Horses

The 2018 Jaguar F-Pace SVR may be able to beat the Porsche Macan Turbo even if it doesn’t come with the V8 5 litre supercharge engine offered by the Jaguar F-Type and Range Rover Sport.

Thanks to the addition of the Performance Package, the Porsche Macan Turbo has had its power boosted to 440 horses. However it may fall short going up against the F-Pace SVR unless of course JLR chooses to shave more off than 135 horses from the engine, which is 575 horses.

This may be the case when you take into account that the 3 litre V6 supercharged engine of the F-Pace S offers up 380 horses and 332 of torque. This is a huge boost from the basic output, which is 180 horses and 318 torque.

It has been seen in spy photos which showed off the compact version and reports lead us to believe that should the car maker offer less power with the Jaguar F-Pace SVR in comparison to the two other versions, the crossover might go lower than 500 horses.
