The 2018 Honda Civic Type R and the Subaru WRX STi are both superb looking vehicles and both come with great specs and features, but which would you go for?
One of the things that stand out on the 2018 Honda Civic Type R is the finish, which on the prototype vehicle is the brushed titanium. While this isn’t thought to be making it to the production vehicle the rest of the exterior is thought to be coming to the vehicle unchanged.
The 2018 Honda Civic Type R comes with a brand new fascia and this has large air intakes, a bold splitter and fog lighting that is dedicated. Of course it also comes with the Type R logo and the famous red Honda badging. Other changes to the style of the vehicle include flared wheel arches, hood scoop, black and red wheels that are bespoke and a rear bumper on the back that looks menacing.
The Subaru WRX STi is menacing if the render of it is anything to go by. This is a render from Theo Chin, and this is his idea of what the new vehicle should look like when it arrives next year.
The Subaru WRX STi has been rendered in bright red and you can see the air scoop on the hood, the aggressive front bumper, the rear diffuser, side sills, rear lip spoiler and the lightweight alloys. Of course if it makes it into production it would have a bigger wing on the rear along with wheel arches that are more pronounced.
