When Honda decided that the Honda Civic Si was not going to get a major performance upgrade, you can bet that the fans won’t be too happy about that and despite all the explanation that Honda gave, the fans were just not happy but Honda is still trying to make their fans see things their way.

One of the main reason why Honda decided to only offer the Honda Civic Si with a 1.5-liter turbo engine that delivers only 205hp was because they wanted to keep the price of the Si low. That might be enough for some but Honda has more to offer.

Honda also told Automotive News that another reason wy they wanted to keep the power low was because they wanted the Honda Civic Si to last. The more power the vehicle produces the less durable the engine that means the vehicle won’t last that long.

At the end of the day, the 205hp vehicle is still fun and with the added benefit of an affordable price tag and durability. Do you think Honda made the right move?
