The 2018 Honda Accord is going to turn up at the party along with the Honda CR-V and Honda Civic, which are already there.

The Honda Accord, CR-V and the Civic will all be sharing the same platform when the Accord finally gets there and this means they all offer the 1.5 litre turbocharged engine. While the others have made it out already, the Accord is going to turn up late as it isn’t going to arrive until next year.

When it does it may mean that we will be saying goodbye to the V6 3.5 litre non-turbo engine. Honda has now committed themselves to using the 4 cylinder turbo engine. However there are many who would like to still see the V6 being offered.

The Honda Accord coupe with the 4 cylinder is hard to bat, however many of the engines are noisy when starting up and they don’t offer the same sound as the V6 engine.

Along with the Honda Accord coming with the turbocharged engine fans do hope that Honda will also keep making the V6 too as many people do like to hear the sound of the engine.
