The 2018 Honda Accord is going to be making a late entrance at the Honda Civic and CR-V gathering. The Civic, CR-V and Accord are all going to have the same platform and along with this, they will have the 1.5 litre turbocharged engine. However, the Accord is going to be very late as we will not see it arrive until next year.

The Honda Accord is going to arrive and it could be time to say goodbye to the 3.5 litre V6 non-turbocharged engine. Honda has put the focus on the turbocharged 4 cylinder engine but there are some people who seem to want the V6 engine to be an option too. It would be hard to beat as it has road performance that is great and it offers up active safety and comfort that is superb.

The 4 cylinder turbocharged engine might be cool but they are noisy when you start them up and of course it doesn’t offer the same cool sound that the V6 engine has.

Of course, Honda could offer the Honda Accord with the both the turbocharged engine and the V6 non-turbocharged engine. But what about you, which engine do you prefer?

I prefer the Accord v6 engine. I currently have a 2013 Accord coupe EX-L V6 with nav. I planned on buying another Accord coupe V6 in 2018, but if the V6 isn’t offered I will switch to another manufacturer.
