2018 Honda Accord Is Making An Entrance At The CR-V and Civic Party

By  |

The 2018 Honda Accord will be making an entrance to the party that the Honda CR-V and Honda Civic are already enjoying.
The Honda Civic, Honda CR-V and Honda Accord will all offer the same platform and they are also going to have the same 1.5 litre turbocharged engine. The Accord is going to be late though as we are not expecting to see the vehicle until next year.

When the Honda Accord does arrive it may mean that we will be saying goodbye to the V6 3.5 litre non-turbocharged engine. Honda have focused on the 4 cylinder turbocharged engine; however there are many people who would like to see the V6 engine remain with the Accord. This is a vehicle that is difficult to beat thanks to the great performance on the road and its exceptional active safety and comfort.

While turbocharged 4 cylinder gas engines are cool, they are noisy when first starting up and they don’t have the cool sound of the V6 engine.

However Honda may offer the Honda Accord along with the turbocharged and non-turbocharged V6 engine.

I’m certain that Honda will do the wise thing and offer it’s customers the choice of their marvelous V6 and their new Turbo Four because they know that a good number of the Accord sedan buyers are the more mature who prefer the reliable as well as economical V6.
