The 2018 Honda Accord has been very late in coming to the Honda CR-V and the Civic party but it is going to arrive.
The Honda Civic, Honda CR-V and the Honda Accord are going to share the same platform and also the 1.5 litre turbocharged engine. The Accord is going to be late attending the party though as we are not going to see it until next year.
When the 2018 Honda Accord does make its way out it could mean the death of the V6 3.5 litre non-turbocharged engine. Honda is committed to the 4 cylinder turbocharged engine but there are many people who think that Honda might still offer the V6 non-turbocharged engine as an option. The Honda Accord coupe with the V6 engine is difficult to beat thanks to it offering up road performance that is superb along with comfort and great active safety measures.
The turbocharged 4 cylinder may be cool, but then there are many who think that they are noisy when they are starting up and of course they don’t have the same cool sound as the V6 engine.
So fingers crossed Honda will keep the V6 engine along with the turbocharged when the Honda Accord makes its way to join the party.
