The 2018 Honda Accord is getting ready to meet up with its siblings this year and when it does all three vehicles are going to share the same 1.5 litre turbocharged engine and the same platform.

The Honda CR-V and Honda Civic have both made it out already, leaving the Honda Accord to be the last to join the party. The Accord offers the V6 3.5 litre non-turbocharged engine at the moment but the new version may not offer this as an option. This would be a shame as it does give the vehicle superb performance.

The new turbocharged engine is going to be cool but it will make more noise and it doesn’t offer the same sound as the V6 engine.

Hopefully Honda will give people the option of going for the V6 non-turbocharged engine or the newer turbocharged when the Honda Accord makes its way out.
