The 2018 Honda Accord is going to be fashionably late to the Honda Civic and CR-V party.

The Honda Civic, CR-V and the Honda Accord will all have the same platform along with them all having the 1.5 litre turbocharged engine. But while the Civic and the CR-V have already made it to the party, the Accord isn’t going to arrive until 2017.

When the 2018 Honda Accord does make its way to the market to join the Civic and CR-V we could see the end of the V6 3.5 litre engine. Honda is showing commitment to the 4 cylinder turbocharged but there are many fans of the V6 engine. People hope that Honda is going to offer both engines.

This is due to the fact that the V6 engine in the Honda Accord is difficult to beat thanks to it offering road performance that is superb. While the 4 cylinder turbocharged may be good, they do tend to be noisy when starting and many people don’t like the sound of them as much as the V6.

So let’s hope that when the 2018 Honda Accord does join the party it is going to arrive with both the turbocharged engine and the V6 engine.
