The 2018 GMC Terrain will be coming in as a new next-gen model and while we do like some of the upgrades that GMC has given the Terrain, it is still far from the best that GMC has to offer and Consumer Report seems to agree as well.
Consumer Reports recently took the GMC Terrain for a drive and according to them, the vehicle does not negotiate turns well. It was also pointed out that the body roll of the vehicle was noticeable and that the steering is far from what we expect from a GMC model.
The inside did not impress CR at all as the interior’s hard plastic and tacky wood reminded CR of the cars from the 80s. The vehicle was also not soundproof properly as the wind and engine noise can clearly be heard.
In the end, the GMC Terrain was given a “mediocre vehicle” rating by CR. Do you think it deserved it?
