2018 Ford F-150: Guilty Of Silverado Identity Theft?

By  |

We have seen the first spy photos of the upcoming 2018 Ford F-150 and Ford has done a great job making visual changes and keeping it away from prying eyes. However, a recent spy photo revealed the vehicle with its grille and headlights exposed and it has been said that it has a look that is similar to the Chevrolet Silverado.

The grille has a new look and it now doesn’t go all the way to the bumper and it offers up corners that are round. It features two bars instead of the triple ones and they are solid. It is thought that the grille could differ depending on trim level as the vehicle seen was the Platinum or Limited.

The headlights have also been changed and the meet the edge of the grille but the bed and cab have the same look as on the older model. The back end of the truck is well hid so we are going to have to wait to find out if the taillights have changed.

It is thought that the Ford F-150 is going to offer up the 3 litre diesel engine, but this hasn’t been confirmed. We don’t know when it is coming out but rumours suggest that it may arrive in 2019, while Ford said it would come out before 2020.

Some people have said that the design of the Ford F-150 looks similar to other trucks, including the Ford Super Duty and Ford Ranger, but which truck do you think it looks like?
