If you thought the 380 horse power Lincoln Navigator was hot you are going to love the 2018 Ford Expedition.
Although Ford hasn’t officially come right out and said how much power the Ford Expedition is going to offer, however the V6 3.5 litre biturbo engine is going to offer up more power than the current 365 horse engine. Now it seems that the promo website for the Blue Oval may have given us the answer as to what we can expect.
On the site there is a snippet of text that indicates the EcoBoost engine, which has been updated, is good for offering 400 horses along with 480 torque. Of course we don’t know if this is going to be the actual output of the 2018 Ford Expedition as all that Ford said was that they don’t have the approved figures yet and cannot confirm them.
If you believe that the figures from the website are true then the 2018 Ford Expedition would offer more power than the Lincoln Navigator. At the moment the 3.5 litre EcoBoost engine offers up 380 horsepower along with 460 torque. Ford gave it the 10 speed automatic gearing and buyers are able to choose rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive.
The 2018 Ford Expedition is going to arrive with plenty of updates and this includes a revised frame along with aluminium body, which means that the vehicle has lost 300 pounds in weight. While it may have lost weight it has gained five inches in length.
The 2018 Ford Expedition will carry eight people and there are two rows of benches or if you go for the captain’s chairs, it will fit seven. The vehicle has six USB ports, 17 cup holders and Wi-Fi hotspot, plus plenty of technology.
