2018 Dodge Challenger Won’t Need Hellcat To Scare Rivals

An all-wheel drive version of the 2018 Dodge Challenger has now been confirmed and this means that Dodge doesn’t need the Hellcat version to scare off the competition as the AWD muscle car would do it for them. When it arrives it will be the first muscle car to offer AWD and this is something that neither the Chevrolet Camaro nor the Ford Mustang can compete with.

Confirmation of the all-wheel drive version of the Dodge Challenger GT came about when the US Environmental Protection Agency posted fuel economy figures. It was said that the vehicle is going to offer the V6 3.6 litre engine and this should offer 21mpg combined.

The figures are just a bit lower than the figures of the RWD Challenger. It has been suggested that the Dodge Challenger GT would be arriving in 2017 and while it hasn’t been confirmed officially with the figures being launched we know for sure that it is coming our way.

The Dodge Challenger GT AWD is going to have something that the Ford Mustang and the Chevrolet Camaro doesn’t, so the Hellcat version isn’t needed.
