The Dodge Challenger is right now behind the Ford Mustang in sales and the Chevrolet Camaro. Pretty soon the SRT Hellcat may be outclassed too by the Ford Mustang GT500 and the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.
As the Dodge Challenger is behind the Mustang and Camaro the FCA isn’t able to pull punches and if they do want to make a comeback with the 2018 Dodge Challenger, something drastic needs to be done. Here we are talking about the standard and Hellcat version of the vehicle.
There is some more positive news for those who favour the Camaro and this comes by way of the Dodge Challenger GT AWD. This is a vehicle that may well be able to take on the Ford Mustang and the Chevrolet Camaro.
The Dodge Challenger GT AWD is going to be all-wheel drive of course and it is going to offer up the V6 engine and not the V8. This is something that neither the Ford Mustang nor the Chevrolet Mustang is able to offer.
When it comes to the Hellcat it is thought that it will have the ADR nameplate and it should be more powerful. The 6.2 litre V8 engine will be more powerful and there should be a wide body kit on the Dodge Challenger Hellcat version.
