There won’t be much Chevrolet Corvette around until the end of the year as Chevrolet announce that they will be shutting down the plant a few months.
According to the reported the 2018 Chevrolet Corvette production will be halted for a few months while Chevrolet continues to work on their plant. Cars Direct reported that the Bowling Green Assembly Plant will be shut down for a few months in August while they work to finish building the new paint shop for the plant.
The work should be completed in November and the Chevrolet Corvette production will resume then. Although there are already 2018 Chevrolet Corvettes in the dealer’s lot right now, there might not be enough to go around.
Some fans are worried that the limited available unit would lead to reduced incentives for the car as dealers run out of Corvettes but things should be back to normal once the plant opens back up at the end of the year.
