You must admit that some of the more outrageous concepts from car makers are only shown off so as to garner attention. However the Cadillac Escala concept was shown off at Pebble Beach and the vehicle looked to be ready for heading to the dealership.
The vehicle has been based around the same RWD platform that the Cadillac CT6 has used and so the concept vehicle is a precursor for vehicles of the future.
The most impressive thing about the concept of the Cadillac CT6 is the gaudy front intake that seems to have been taken from the Toyota Mirai and which has been put onto the front of the Escala. Maybe this is going to be an element that isnt going to be seen on the production version of the CT6.
Another thing that you cannot help but notice is how it resembles the Audi A7 concept profile when it comes to proportion along with the lifted back of the flowing fastback roofline.
What is most conspicuous is the cabin, which is bright, due to the three OLED displays of the instrument cluster along with the console screen in the centre of the concept. This is something that we are hoping is going to be seen in the redesign of the Cadillac CT6.
