Some concept vehicles are so outlandish that they have been designed only for drawing our attention to them and they are never going to be released as production vehicles. However recently we saw the concept for the Cadillac Escala and the vehicle looked as though it could be heading to the dealers.

The Cadillac Escala offers the same RWD platform that is seen on the Cadillac CT6 and it has been said that this should be the way forward for future designs of the nameplate.

The concept took the large front intake from the Toyota Mirai and it blended it with the front of the Escala very tastefully. It isn’t known whether the styling element is one that is going to be seen on the production version though.

What did stand out on the Cadillac Escala concept was the resemblance to the Audi A7 for the proportions of the vehicle.

Inside the cabin there are three OLED displays that brighten the cabin up and these are the instrument cluster, there was also a console screen in the centre of the concept and we are hoping that this is going to make its way to the CT6.
