Designers come up with concepts that blow the mind but then the actual production vehicle doesn’t look anything like that concept. One vehicle that strays from this is the Cadillac Escala concept that was shown off a the Pebble Beach event, which looked as though it was ready to hit the dealerships.
The concept for the Cadillac Escala was based around the RWD platform of the Cadillac CT6 uses and so the concept is aimed at future designs for the brand.
It takes the huge somewhat gaudy front intake from the Toyota Mirai and then it blends it with the Escala front, but we don’t expect to see the styling element feature on the production version of the Cadillac CT6.
One thing that is worth noting is that the concepts profile does look a lot like the profile of the Audi A7. More so in regards to the flowing fastback roofline lifted rear and proportion.
What stands out even more is how bright the cabin is and there are three OLED displays, which make up the instrument cluster along with the centre console display in the concept. We are hoping that this is something that is going to make its way into the redesign of the Cadillac CT6.
