Some concept cars that are seen have been designed to draw attention to them and in fact they never make their way out to customers. One that stands out as being different is the Cadillac Escala concept that was shown off at Pebble Beach and which is now heading to dealers.
It offers the same RWD platform that was used on the Cadillac CT6 and the concept has been the precursor for the designs of the future for the nameplate.
It makes use of the big front intake of the Toyota Mirai and blends it with the elegant face of the Escala, while the styling isn’t expected to make it to the production version of the 2018 Cadillac CT6.
One thing that should be noted is the resemblance to the Audi A7, mostly when it comes to the proportions along with the flowing fastback roofline on the lifted rear end.
Something that stands out is the bright cabin with the three OLED displays on the instrument cluster along with the console display in the centre of the concept. We really hope that this is something that is ported over to the 2018 Cadillac CT6.
