We have seen some crazy concepts for cars over the years and these are usually done so as to bring attention. The concept for the Cadillac Escala however came out at Pebble Beach and the vehicle looked as though it was ready to head out to the dealerships.
The concept was based around the Cadillac TR6 RWD platform and this means that it is the design of the future for the nameplate. It takes the huge and gaudy intake from the Toyota Mirai and then it applies it to the Escala front. However whether this is an element that will be seen on the production version of the CT6 remains to be seen.
There is no denying that the profile of the concept resembles that of the Audi A7 for proportions along with having the lifted back on the flowing fastback roofline.
What does stand out is the bright cabin with the three OLED displays and these do make up the instrument cluster along with centre console display in the concept, which is something we hope comes over to the CT6.
