Some concepts out there are so outlandish that they are only dreamed up to draw in attention and of course they never make it to the production version of the vehicle. The Cadillac Escala concept however was shown off at Pebble Beach and that vehicle looked as though it was ready to head to the dealers.

The concept was based on the Cadillac CT6 platform and the concept is the start that vehicles of the future are going to be based around.

It has the big gaudy front intake design that is seen on the Toyota Mirai and it blends it very tastefully onto the Escala. However we don’t expect to see the styling on the production version of the Cadillac CT6.

What does stand out is the resemblance of the profile of the concept to that of the Audi A7 for its proportions and the lifted rear of the flowing fastback roofline.

The cabin is bright inside thanks to the three OLED displays that are the instrument cluster along with the console screen in the centre of the concept. We hope that this is going to make its way over to the redesigned Cadillac CT6.
