Sometimes when car makers come up with concepts they do so to bring attention and the production version doesn’t come out looking anything like the concept. The Cadillac Escala concept however was shown off at Pebble Beach and it looked ready to head to the dealers.

The vehicle was based around the RWS platform that is in use by the Cadillac CT6 out at the moment and it has been said that it is going to be the pre-cursor for future designs.

One thing that stood out is the fact that it seems to take the front intake design of the Toyota Mirai and then puts it onto the face of the Escala. We cannot see the styling featuring on the production version of the Cadillac CT6 though.

One of the biggest things that stands out on the profile is the resemblance it has to the profile of the Audi A7 when it comes to proportion, along with the flowing fastback roofline.

The bright cabin is conspicuous thanks to the three OLED displays and these make up the instrument cluster along with the center console screen seen on the concept. We are keeping our fingers crossed that these will make their way over to the production version.
