A fair amount of BMW M5 details were leaked before BMW got to chance to announce the vehicle online but it looks like BMW still has a few more information for us.
The new BMW M5 will be coming in with a new 4.4 liter MTwinPower Turbo V8 engine that will be offering about 600PS and 553lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to an eight-speed auto transmission and it will be going from 0-62mph in 3.4second with a top speed of 155mph. Customers can choose to push the top speed up to 189mph with the M Driver’s Package.
On the inside, the BMW M5 will come with the M sports steering wheel, leather sports seat, aluminum trim and more. The M5 will also come with the M xDrive system. Some fans were worried that the BMW M5 will be weighed down by the M xDrive system but according to BMW, the new BMW M5 is lighter compared to the outgoing model.
Deliveries will be starting next spring.
