2018 BMW M2 Might Take On Audi TT RS 400 Horses
BMW is offering up more and more performance models in their lineup and it is looking as though the latest vehicle to have been worked on in the M division is the BMW M2.
Instead of gaining the Competition Package the performance sedan might take on the 3 litre straight six engine that the BMW M3 and M4 offers.
The two bigger brothers have the engine offering 444 horses along with 406 torque, however in the BMW M2 it is thought that this could be detuned to offer up 440 horses.
The power would then make for a new variation with the name of the BMW M2 Clubsport, which would go up against the Audi RS TT along with the Audi RS3, which should offer up the same by way of power.
At the moment none of this has been confirmed so you should take the idea of a BMW M2 with a pinch of salt. At the moment the best choice if you want over 400 horses is going to be the BMW M3 or the M4.
