The BMW 3-Series could end up being the Tesla rival that we all have been waiting for. Here is what we know of the BMW 3-Series right now.
The BMW 3-Series has been getting spotted out in the open more than a few times now although it was heavily covered in camo stickers every time. The latest spy image showed signs that the front bumper design has been modified which most likely mean that it will be getting a design upgrade similar to what the 5-Series received.
The BMW 3-Series will come riding on the new Cluster Architecture. That along with some other lighter components will help the vehicle shed about 80kg. The base model will be powered by a 1.5-liter three-cylinder petrol engine that will be offering about 136hp. There should also be the 1.6-liter diesel three-cylinder engine with 114bhp and the 2.0-liter diesel engine.
It is believed that the BMW 3-Series might eventually get an all-electric model but that will only appear after 2020. Sales are expected to begin this year.
