The 2018 Audi RS5 may be another take on the Porsche Panamera thanks to it offering the 2.9 litre twin-turbocharged V6. Whether or not it offers the same output as the Panamera we don’t know as the numbers haven’t yet been disclosed. The V6 in the Panamera offers up 440 horses along with 406 torque.
While not everyone is going to like the fact of downsizing from the V8 engine, the 2018 Audi RS5 is going to offer a big bump up when it comes to torque and it is thought that the fuel economy should be better. Along with this the MLB Evo platform is going to help with the weight loss and fuel efficiency.
The prototype of the 2018 Audi RS5 has been seen but it was covered up. However you don’t have to struggle to see what it looks like thanks to the S5. The sedan is said to be the best choice to drive around in on a daily basis while at the same time enjoying performance.
Right now we don’t know about the performance of the 2018 Audi RS5 but we are expecting it to be faster. The maximum speed should be capped at about 155mph to 174mph.
The 2018 Audi RS5 is going to arrive next year along with the RS4 sedan. We are also expecting to see the RS 5 Cabriolet make an appearance in 2018.
