2018 Audi Q7 Needs To Run Away From Volkswagen Diesel Stigma
Audi has suffered at the hands of the diesel mistake by Volkswagen and during the time that they admitted to cheating on the emissions Audi was in the midst of developing new diesel engines. Of course they were put on hold but Audi doesn’t want to waste the engines.
Audi did some thinking and they are chose to offer up the diesel engines in the near future and they are not that bothered about what Volkswagen thinks about it. Audi has now said that they are going to offer the new diesel engine in the US during next year in the Audi Q7 and are keeping their fingers crossed that people will want to take it for a spin.
They said that the diesel powertrain is working with EPA and NHTSA to avoid making a repeat of the diesel scandal all over again. You might think that Audi would avoid making diesel engines, however, perhaps now is time for them and buyers to move on from the scandal.
At the moment we don’t know much about the diesel engines in the Audi Q7 but it is going to be interesting to see how the public react to them following the Volkswagen scandal.
