2017 Toyota Prius Prime: Better Fuel Sipper Than Rivals

By  |

The 2017 Toyota Prius Prime is a great contender to the Chevrolet Volt offering 106MPGe and the Hyundai Ioniq which offers 125MPGe as it has set a new benchmark and returned 133 MPGe.

When running in the electric mode the Toyota Prius Prim offers up 133MPGe in the combined cycle, which beats the BMW i3 which offers 124MPGe and the Nissan Leaf with its 114MPGe. However bear in mind that these vehicles are fully electric, while the Prime is a plug-in hybrid.

The 2017 Toyota Prius Prime was unveiled earlier on this year and Toyota said that it would offer up around 120miles MPGe range. However this was on the conservative side as it can go for 640 miles on one single tank or 25 on electric.
