2017 Toyota Prius: Looks Pretty To Many
The design of the 2017 Toyota Prius is something that is debatable, depending on where you live. Over in US people don’t really think much about the looks, while in Japan it is considered to be a pretty looking vehicle.
Whatever you think about its looks the fourth gen Toyota Prius has improved its fuel efficiency and so this does attract more consumers. It does come with an exterior that has been highly stylized when you compare it to models that came before it.
Bloomberg recently said that the 2017 Toyota Prius hasn’t been very popular in the US as it offers a hood that is more pronounced along with a section at the back that has the vehicle looking like a truncated sedan.
Over in the US Toyota managed to sell 93, 083 units during the first 8 months of the new vehicle being on the market and this proved to be a drop of 26% in comparison to the year before. In research people were asked what put them off the 2017 Toyota Prius and 12% said exterior styling was the main issue.
However in Japan sales of the 2017 Toyota Prius have been on the rise and Bloomberg suggests that the styling suits Japanese buyers more than it does consumers in the US.
