2017 Toyota Highlander vs GMC Acadia But Is Versatility Really Enough?
The Toyota Highlander might not be the most stunning vehicle among SUVs but it doesn’t have bad looks and it is versatile. But when it’s going up against the GMC Acadia you have to ask whether versatility is going to be enough.
The engine in the GMC Acadia is the I-4 2.5 litre with six speed automatic transmission. You can get eight people in the vehicle but on the downside you don’t get an infotainment system fitted as standard.
The Toyota Highlander offers up the 2.7 litre inline 4 cylinder engine and you should get about 185 horses and 184 torque from it. It comes with the six speed automatic transmission and you should be able to get about 20mpg when driving in the city and on the highway around 25mpg.
The Toyota Highlander has a price tag of $27, 837 and the GMC Acadia comes in at $30, 820.
