The upgrade might not be major but there is definitely some difference between the current Toyota Highlander and the upcoming 2017 Toyota Highlander model.
Toyota revealed the 2017 Toyota Highlander model showing off some of the upgrades that they added to the 2017 model. On the outside, the Toyota Highlander will be coming in with an upgraded grille with two finishes, silver or chrome depending on what trim you go for. They also upgraded the taillight and rear bumper.
Customers will now get to choose from a longer list of exterior color options as Toyota will be adding in two new colors, Toasted Walnut Pearl, and Celestial Silver Metalic. There will also be a new trim level called the SE which they will be fitting in between the XLE and Limited model.
The Toyota Highlander will come running on a 2.7 liter 4 cylinder engine that will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission. There is also the 3.5 liter V6 engine that has been upgraded this time around although the official numbers have not been released yet.
The 2017 Toyota Highlander will be making its debut at the New York Auto Show.
