2017 Tesla Model S Takes On Chevrolet Bolt Leaving Volt Out

By  |

The 2017 Tesla Model S was once again put up for the Motor Trend Car of the Year, an award which it first won back in 2013. This year it was the 60/75kWh model that was put up to win the 2017 Car Of The Year finalist.

Another vehicle on the list was the Chevrolet Bolt EV, while the Volt totally got left out as it didn’t make it onto the finalist list.

The Tesla Model S 60 does happen to be a great vehicle and it has been among the best upgrades from 60kWh to 75kWh with OTA software updates. You can choose the base version and then upgrade at any time you want for $9,000 more.

The Tesla Model S and Chevrolet Bolt EV both became finalists at the COTY awards but what was surprising was that the Chevrolet Volt EV didn’t get to become a finalist.
