2017 Tesla Model S Means Buyers Of Model 3 Pay More
About a third of all people who have put in a reservation for the Tesla Model 3 have in fact decided not to wait for its arrival and have gone on the get the Tesla Model S instead, which means they pay out more.
Tesla introduced two year leases with cuts and it seems that it has paid off as it brought in more consumers to the Tesla Model 3 even though production of the vehicle hadn’t started.
The leasing was made available in August and September and it got people who had reserved the Tesla Model 3 straight into the brand with other models. You could get the Tesla Model S for $600 over 24 months and reservations were also cheap for the Model X.
The Tesla Model 3 has already taken over 400,000 pre-orders and consumers are going to have to wait for around two years to get their hands on a vehicle. Some people just don’t want to wait that long and have decided to go with the Tesla Model S, which comes with a price tag of $31k more.
