About a third of all people who put in reservations for the Tesla Model 3 are thought to have now given up on the vehicle and gone on to get the Tesla Model S instead.

Tesla introduced two year leasing and this paid off as it brought in customers for the Tesla Model 3 despite the fact that the vehicle hadn’t even gone into production.

The scheme was available in August and September and people who reserved the Tesla Model 3 were able to jump straight into the brand with other models. They could lease the Tesla Model S for $600 a month for 24 months. There were also reservations on the Model X.

Did you reserve the Tesla Model 3 and have you got fed up of waiting for its arrival?
